Who we are
EZETraders Incorporated, an Illinois corporation of 4836 N Cumberland Ave, Norridge, IL 60706, United States. We are the data controller for the information described below. You can reach us at ceo@ezetraders.com or +1 (773) 499-4099 about anything on this page.
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit the quote form, we receive your name, business name, email address, phone number if you provide one, ship-to ZIP code, business type, and whatever you write in the details field.
- Information from doing business with you. If you place an order, we hold the order, invoice, and shipping records that go with it.
- Patient information. If we dispense a hearing aid to you directly, we hold the health and fitting information required to do that properly and lawfully. That information is handled separately from ordinary business enquiries and is not used for marketing.
We do not run advertising trackers, analytics profiling, or third-party marketing pixels on this site.
Why we use it
- To price your enquiry and reply to you
- To process, ship, and invoice your order
- To handle warranty claims, returns, and support
- To keep the tax, accounting, and dispensing records the law requires us to keep
We will not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote. If we ever start sending a newsletter, it will be because you opted in, and every message will have an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the parties needed to do the job:
- Formspree — delivers the quote form to our inbox (their privacy policy)
- Shipping carriers — UPS, FedEx, and USPS receive the name and address needed to deliver your order
- Payment processors — card and bank payments are handled by our processor and our bank. We never see or store your full card number
- Professional advisers and authorities — our accountant, and any regulator or law enforcement body where we are legally required to disclose
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become orders are kept for up to two years so we can pick up the conversation if you come back. Order, invoice, and tax records are kept for seven years, as US tax rules require. Dispensing and patient records are kept for the period required by Illinois law for licensed hearing instrument dispensers.
Your choices
Email ceo@ezetraders.com and we will action any of the following within 30 days:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that's wrong
- Ask us to delete it, where we're not legally required to keep it
- Ask us to stop contacting you
We will never charge you for making a request, and we will never treat you differently as a customer for having made one.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and the quote form is submitted over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, so please don't send us card numbers, bank credentials, or government ID numbers by email or through the form — we will never ask you to.
A note on fraud. We will never email or text you to say our bank details have changed. If you receive a message like that, it did not come from us. Call +1 (773) 499-4099 and check before sending any payment.
Children
This is a business-to-business and professional dispensing site. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through it.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting existing customers will be sent by email.
